Breakfast Parfait

Layered yogurt, granola and berries in a glass — ten minutes, no cooking, and breakfast that looks like dessert.

Estimated; may vary.
A parfait is the fastest way to make breakfast look like you tried. Yogurt, granola, berries, three layers in a glass, done in the time it takes coffee to brew.
The catch is sugar. Flavored yogurt and sweetened granola together push one glass past 300 calories, and this one lands at 350 calories — swap in plain yogurt and add your own fruit if you want it lighter, and the meal calorie calculator will show what that does to your day.
Ingredients
- Low-fat vanilla yogurt1 cup, container (170 g)
- Granola1/2 cup (30 g)
- Fresh mixed berries1/2 cup (72 g)
- Layer just before eating so the granola stays crunchy.
- Use plain yogurt and add your own fruit to control the sweetness.
- Dairy-free swap: a thick coconut or soy yogurt holds the layers just as well.
- Contains: milk (yogurt). Granola varies a lot by brand — check the label for wheat, tree nuts and soy.
- Swap in a thick plant yogurt and gluten-free granola to make it dairy-free or gluten-free.
Method
- Wash your hands and all surfaces before you start.
- Spoon half the yogurt into a glass or bowl.
- Add a layer of granola and half the berries.
- Repeat with the remaining yogurt, granola and berries.
- Serve straight away so the granola stays crisp.
