Fit Nutrition

Editorial Policy

This policy explains how Fit Nutrition researches, writes, sources, and corrects content, and how you can help us keep it accurate.

01

How we create content

Every page separates reference data, our interpretation, and practical next steps. Each article follows a documented brief and shows an author or editor name and a last-updated date. We write in plain language and explain what a number means, where uncertainty remains, and what action may be useful.

02

Editorial standards

We aim for accuracy, clarity, and usefulness over hype. We do not present content as professionally or medically reviewed unless it genuinely is, and we do not make health claims that the evidence does not support. Where a topic needs individual medical or dietary advice, we say so and point to a qualified professional.

03

Sources and corrections

Material claims are linked to primary or authoritative public sources, such as national food databases and official dietary guidance, so you can check them yourself. When we find an error, we correct it and note the change. Spotted a mistake? Please tell us through the contact page — reader corrections are welcome and are one of the main ways we keep pages accurate. Include the page and, where possible, a source, and we will review and fix confirmed errors promptly.

04

Independence

Fit Nutrition is an independent educational project. We are not a clinic and do not employ in-house doctors or nutritionists. Any commercial relationships, where they exist, never change our nutrition conclusions, calculator formulas, or which sources we cite.

05

Use of tools and data

We may use software tools to help gather and format public data, but editorial judgment and sourcing remain human-reviewed, and we correct issues as they are found.
